Tinctures are one of the purest and oldest ways to get the full health benefits of herbs. The process involves extracting and preserving the plant material using grain alcohol 80 proof or more. Alcohol based tinctures last up to five years.

You can achieve the same benefits using Glycerin, also called Glycerites. Glycerin based tinctures last up to a year.
